shipping fees, boarding fees, etc. All ancillary fees shall be listed in the stallion’s auction profile and are payable
to the stallion owner or manager. All ancillary fees are strictly between the stallion owner and mare owner.
The highest bidder for each stallion service will receive a certificate from the ApHC stating that the resulting
ApHC-registered foal will be eligible for and nomination fees waived for entry into the Stallion Service Auction
Classes at the World Show (regular entry fees will apply).
Return Services: If a mare owned by the high bidder fails to produce a foal resulting from the service bought
through the 2020 Stallion Service Auction, an ApHC-registered foal resulting from a breeding to the same stallion
in the 2021 breeding season may be eligible for the 2022 Stallion Service Auction Classes. In the event 1) a mare
fails to conceive, 2) a mare conceives but does not carry the foal to term, 3) death of a foal at time of foaling or
4) a foal is born with a genetic defect, the owner must notify the ApHC as well as the stallion owner with proper
certification from a licensed veterinarian. Any arrangements for rebreeding are strictly between the stallion
owner and mare owner. The ApHC does not guarantee the high bidder a live foal for any breeding sold through
the 2020 Stallion Service Auction.
Stallion Owner: For each donated service that is sold, the stallion owner will receive a certificate from the ApHC
that entitles the owner to nominate one ApHC-registered foal of said stallion from the 2020 breeding season to
be nominated for the Stallion Service Auction Classes at the World Show (regular entry fees will apply).
